[SD] The Endless Summer Express Bus

I don't just want to write about the romance between so-and-so and so-and-so. I want to convey some ideas about the world and share a few thoughts through my writing. The prose is messy, and some plot points are rather strange because my writing still needs work. Thanks for being understanding~

It's a slow burn, a really slow burn. There's wish fulfillment, too, but I haven't made the undercurrents of many emotions explicit. Even at 100,000 words, the relationship may still be at the hazy friendship stage.

I kept changing my mind about the pairing, but in the end I chose Rukawa. If you write Slam Dunk fanfiction but don't want to date Rukawa, you're doing it wrong. It's worth thinking about what kind of girl Rukawa Kaede would like. My hope is that readers won't find the relationship's progression jarring or feel that they're "dating just for the sake of dating." Let things happen naturally...

The main plot is a hefty one. I don't want to drag things out just to pad the word count, but I also feel these are scenes that absolutely can't be left out~ I'll do my best to recreate the vivid feeling of watching the anime and reading the manga.

Nothing complicated. It's a story about youth.
