An old-school story I started two years ago.

I've thoroughly revised it and changed some details.

I've made the plot more coherent, but it's still very Mary Sue. Don't try to tell me how to write it.

I wrote it for myself.

Just so you know.

Xu Muyang is an utterly shameless Wu Xie fan.

She's liked plenty of people,

but while crushes come and go like water, Wu Xie is forever.

During a Rice Ball festival, she made her pilgrimage to Changbai Mountain, as if checking in,

and then got pushed into Heaven's Lake with a splat, returning to 2002. With time she'd stolen,

she met the person she never wanted to forget in this life.

Watching his youthful smile,

Muyang made a wish she hadn't even dared to imagine.

"Loving you for ten years is the longest confession I can give you."

When time ran out, I returned to where it all began. I made a different choice, and maybe I'll never see you again.

But when I look back, it's as if I see you again, standing there with that familiar smile,

waving at me,

waiting for me to come home.

"Hello, Wu Xie. My name is Xu Muyang. I've had a crush on you for a long time. In this world, let me protect you until the end."
