[Plants vs. Zombies opens in mid-to-late January. Blurb below]
Qiao Lingwu had always thought she was heaven's chosen one. She was descended from a phoenix and a nine-tailed fox, and was immortal by nature.
Until one day, she woke up and discovered that the world she lived in was a novel, and everything existed to pave the way for the heroine, her junior sister. Even her immortality was part of the plan.
As an immortal, she was ultimately killed by the villainous demon lord, who had a secret crush on the heroine. He crushed her soul and used her body as a vessel to house the heroine's soul, whose original body had been destroyed.
And, as it happened, this demon lord was the adorable puppy-like junior brother she had dug out of a mass grave not long ago.
Qiao Lingwu: "..." You ungrateful bastard! Your senior sister will teach you how to be a decent person!
And so Qiao Lingwu began the long road of teaching (beating) her junior brother a lesson.
The junior disciples of Xingjian Sect noticed that their already arrogant and domineering senior sister had become more and more deranged lately. She had even started bullying the new junior brother.
She made him draw talismans, forbidding him from eating until they were finished; made him memorize incantations, forbidding him from sleeping until he had learned them; and made him wash her clothes, forbidding him from going back until they were clean...
Later, Qiao Lingwu was driven to the Demon Abyss, where her elegant and noble junior brother came toward her.
Qiao Lingwu thought that after all those years of teaching him, he must have some affection for her as his senior sister. He had to be there to save her.
So Qiao Lingwu reached out to him.
Pei Yunqi smiled at her, took her hand, and pushed her down into the unfathomably deep Demon Abyss.
Pei Yunqi: I hated that woman with all my heart. She was a hypocritical, vicious woman who rescued me from a mass grave and gave me hope, only to humiliate me in every way and push me into the depths of despair.
One day, I will make her pay for every single thing.
She hates the dark, so I will keep her in the lightless Demon Abyss, by my side. She likes Xuan Ran, so from now on, I will make her cry as she calls only my name. I will keep her by my side, until I am all she has in her eyes and in her heart.
Pairing: Tsundere, sharp-tongued senior sister X [ungrateful bastard] junior brother

[Coming soon: Plants vs. Zombies blurb]
The apocalypse arrives.
Zhizhi, who had been quietly lying low, binds to the Plants vs. Zombies Store System.
"Dear, complete missions to earn coins that you can use to buy plants!"
Poor Zhizhi scrolls down, daunted by the sky-high prices of the plants, until she reaches the zombie encyclopedia. "Can I buy this basic zombie?"
"Dear, this is Plants vs. Zombies."
"Can I buy it?"
System: "...Yes." No point turning down a new player's coins.
With the single beginner coin gifted by the stingy System, Zhizhi buys a basic zombie.
She had hoped the zombie would be strong and sturdy enough to protect her from bullies. Instead, she discovers that aside from having to feed one more zombie, its only purpose is to get beaten up alongside her. _(:з"∠)_
Zhizhi regrets it terribly and wants to return it.
"Dear, all sales are final. No returns or exchanges."
But later, the basic zombie puts on an iron bucket to take the hits for her, grabs a pole to carry her to safety, and drives a sleigh to help her escape.
System: "..." Wait, did we really sell this thing in our store?
A heroine who's good at putting on an act (?) X a hero who's good at getting beaten up. They're both weak at first, so it's mostly everyone getting beaten up together (not really) (/ω\)
Theme: Even when you know the ending will be bad, don't give up on yourself. Believe that human effort can overcome fate.
It's nice to look at. I like this character design. I also like all the seniors. Every character has merit. I like it.
Oh my God, it's over. I don't have to watch it. Kill me.
"'" Is a big thorn in the side of the author~ all
So Ning Ruan is really a good person? Just a bit silly?... I thought she was an advanced tea art master
Wow, the ending of "Spreading Flowers" is very interesting. I'm looking forward to the next one.
Tsk, tsk, tsk, these two little bastards are so annoying. Congratulations on the completion. Hehehe, it's so well written.
