The main story is complete. Please add my upcoming novel, "Languid," to your reading list: aloof pianist vs. refined scoundrel
1.
A friend asked Yuan Bozheng, "You've known Qingchan for thirteen years. Have you really never had feelings for such a smart, beautiful girl?"
Yuan Bozheng remembered Yu Qingchan crying all afternoon as a child after scraping her finger. He shook his head with a laugh. "I'm not interested. She's a pampered young lady, and I don't know how to coddle people."
Yu Qingchan, who had been about to open the door, pulled her hand back. Her eyes suddenly reddened.
2.
Yuan Bozheng prided himself on being upright and easygoing, and on being decisive and never clinging to anyone in matters of the heart. He never expected the beautiful girl he'd grown up with to confess to him on a summer night when she was twenty.
Yuan Bozheng looked at her, at a loss for words.
Before getting out of the car, Yu Qingchan threw caution to the wind and reached over to hook her finger around his. "Don't decide so quickly. Can we give it a try?"
His palm tingled. He instinctively pulled away. When he looked at the person in front of him again, she seemed unable to accept it. She wiped at her tear-blurred eyes, then turned and ran home.
That night, Yuan Bozheng couldn't sleep. He hadn't figured out how he felt about Yu Qingchan, but he couldn't stop thinking about the way she'd tilted her head and kissed him.
3.
At last, Yu Qingchan accepted that Yuan Bozheng didn't like her.
Her best friend said she was too reserved and boring, too aloof and proud. How could handsome guys like her? She needed to go back to the drawing board.
Step one of her makeover: put on a camisole and dance like there's no tomorrow!
Late that night, Yu Qingchan lay quietly on the sofa, drunk. The warm light in the living room made her face look even lovelier.
With a creak, Yuan Bozheng slowly emerged from the room next door. He looked down at the person sprawled across the sofa. Wasn't she cold with her bare back exposed? Her skirt barely covered her thighs. What would happen if she kept hanging around Qin Zihan?
He watched her for a while. Yu Qingchan's lashes fluttered as she slowly woke, but he'd lost all sense and couldn't tear his eyes away from her face.
As if in a trance, he braced one hand on the arm of the sofa, bent down, and lightly kissed her lips.
His footsteps faded into the distance. Yu Qingchan slowly opened her eyes, her gaze clear.
So who was the one lost and confused this time?
Bonus scene:
As her older brother, Xu Qingran had always resented the fact that Yuan Bozheng's dog had gotten his family's golden retriever pregnant. What annoyed him even more was that Yu Qingchan blushed and swooned over Yuan Bozheng all day, making Xu Qingran, who considered himself handsome and elegant, seem utterly unremarkable by comparison.
Xu Qingran decided to help Yu Qingchan broaden her social circle, starting by introducing her to a few excellent senior students.
After she had dinner with Senior A, Yuan Bozheng was so annoyed he could laugh. He placed the puppy Yu Qingchan had given him on Xu Qingran's table. "Take it back. I don't want it anymore. Can you stop meddling in Qingchan's affairs?"
P.S. Sweet girl and adored heiress vs. a straight-laced, overconfident hero who gets his comeuppance
The heroine falls first; the hero pursues her later
One-on-one, both leads sexually inexperienced
New novel starts here
"Languid"
Si Xian and Zhou Muzhi got married.
He was refined and courteous, elegant and considerate. Their lavish wedding had everyone talking.
Si Xian sat in the lounge, looking at their wedding photos on the display board. Her husband had a handsome, gentle face. She hadn't exactly made a bad match.
Si Xian planned to make theirs a marriage in name only, with each of them free to do as they pleased. But as spring turned to autumn... Zhou Muzhi seemed to be getting a little too invested in the act.
P.S. Aloof heiress vs. wealthy heir
The heroine is a pianist; the hero studied business overseas
Please note: marriage first, love later | business alliance | melodrama | the heroine won't be abused
The hero is sexually inexperienced; the heroine is not. Happy ending
Theme: A beautiful love
Both brothers and sisters are love brains... I'm speechless.
It's not easy, we are finally together
Come on, slap me in the face, hahaha
Update soon. It's been a year and I still like this book.
Come on, great writing~~
The heroine confesses her love? Ah, how could this happen?
I also feel that as long as it is not perverted harassment, if someone expresses good feelings towards me, I should cherish and thank them, and then reject them properly.
Ahhhhhhhh there is progress!!!
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha That's why Brother Liyang's cooking is not delicious. Eat melon
The heroine is so good. Let the hero be more jealous and get better.
