Starting with a Typhoon Disaster

Li Zhu, who returned from the world of cultivation, is nearing her senior-year graduation. Her ex-boyfriend has mysteriously disappeared, leaving her nothing but a cold, empty apartment and three million yuan in savings. Before Li Zhu can enjoy the thrill of showing off her cultivation skills in the modern city, she is confronted by an epic typhoon sweeping across the East Coast. Trapped in the dorm, she has two roommates. Roommate 1 loves to curse and complain, shouting every day that the world is about to end. Roommate 2 is timid and hesitant, even agonizing over whether she deserves two extra bottles of mineral water. Their one redeeming quality is that they listen to her. After barely surviving the typhoon, she learns that this is only the beginning of the natural disasters. It is fine. Li Zhu's cultivation may be weak, but she has plenty of tricks up her sleeve! - The storm is raging, and every step is a struggle? Li Zhu quietly takes out a Wind-Repelling Pearl and a Water-Repelling Pearl, then gathers supplies in the flooded cities on the seabed plain. The locks are hard to pick, and brute force is needed? How about trying the Wall-Piercing Technique? There isn't enough room to store all that food? She can refine it all into fasting pills, each one enough to last a month. Now that she's a cultivator, let's set aside her other strengths. In two words: she can survive! And in two more: she's long-lived! There's no way her several hundred years of life won't outlast this disaster! Reader's Guide: 1. A slow-paced natural-disaster story. There isn't much cultivation; the focus is on surviving the disasters. 2. Social order won't collapse completely. Collective rescue efforts continue despite the difficulties. 3. The heroine will help and save people when she can, but she'll also punish villains. 4. The heroine has a daughter, whose relationship with her is central to the story. Theme: After the storm comes the rainbow.
