Blanche is a level-headed fan of superheroes. Back when she deliberately cozied up to them, it was a rational decision. But now, trying to compete with the superheroes for work isn't quite so rational. (Though she says she's competing with them for the jobs, in truth Blanche just wants to repay them.)
Here is a conversation between Blanche and the Director:
Blanche: "Change the mission to find the all-powerful Inhuman and give it to me. I'll take care of it."
The Director: "This is a very difficult task. Before you can take it on, you need to prove you're qualified by completing other missions."
"For example, you need to find culinary treasures in the Food World first, so you won't go hungry during your journey."
Blanche: "I've already got culinary treasures. Why would I be worried about going hungry?"
The Director: "And besides, just because you want to do it doesn't mean you have the ability."
Blanche: "Superheroes, we'll help each other complete this mission, right?"
She'd been full of confidence, but this was the response she got:
The Captain was too busy with the mission to protect the culinary treasures to get away; Nini was too busy cracking the secrets of the culinary treasures to have any time; Doctor Green was too busy deciphering the source data behind an alien war to spare a thought for it; ... For a moment, she felt like she'd been had.
But she still wasn't afraid. "Even so, I'll take the job!"

Please note that you know what to expect from the OOC in this story. It's unavoidable. Also, this story is entirely fictional, meant only to provide some light reading and lift your spirits. Any resemblance to reality is purely coincidental. Finally, this title belongs to the same series as my previous story, "I Won't Take This Job [Western Crossover]," but the characters in the two stories aren't connected in any way. The beginning of this is a bit confusing. Is this the follow-up to some novel? From the very beginning, it gave me the impression that the prospect has been laid out.
