You Call This Palace Intrigue?!

My lord, the times have gone backward!

Wen Tong transmigrated to the future by chance, delighted at the thought of enjoying the perks of future technology and living a life of leisure. But after a war between humans and robots, the mechanical empire unexpectedly brought back an emperor system. The humans, at a disadvantage, were forced to pay tribute to the mechanical empire to maintain their pitiful peace. And Wen Tong, who had just transmigrated, was chosen as one of the third batch of tribute students (slaves)?

Wen Tong: I thought history moved in a spiral. How did it go backward?

Besides, this palace-intrigue plot doesn't seem to be like the ones I've read?

Wen Tong was in for a whole year's worth of shocks.
