HP: The Death Eater's Guide to Redemption

[Ahh, something came up. A sad story, so the next update is expected on January 20. Sneaking off now.]

[No romance. Mainly plot-focused. Third-person narration.]

Year One: I'm a good person, but my life matters too.

Year Two: I'm a good person, but what are my teammates doing?

Year Three: I'm a good person, but don't come any closer!

Year Four: I'm a good person, but this is too hard.

Year Five: I really am a good person.

Year Six: I told you I'm a good person.

After graduating from Hogwarts, I opened a shop to support myself because I wanted to make money. But while researching and inventing, I was unfortunately recruited into the Death Eaters. I was pretty happy at first, since I'd heard pure-bloods were all rich. But then my colleagues started murdering and setting fires, and while I was trembling with fear, our boss was unfortunately brought down overnight.

When it came to choosing between Colleague A's plan to use Galleons to buy his way out and Colleague B's plan to cling to someone powerful, I chose the latter for the sake of my Galleons. Then I got conned into becoming a professor at the school.

Now I've lost my business, lost my Galleons, and have to teach a bunch of little trolls, all while dealing with a crazy boss who could come back at any time. This is too hard.

[No character bashing. Closely following Dumbledore's lead. Lighthearted at first, a little serious later on. The character list is just for reference.]
