Little Qi, a young dragon, is swept into a temporal maelstrom the first time she sneaks out, and ends up in a very unfamiliar place.
A strange person appears and, in broken formal speech, says he knows where her people are and will take her to live with them.
Little Qi follows him, half guessing and half understanding, only to be taken to a place called an "academy." There is also a "school bully" there, someone her older brother often talks about. All the students in both the Sun Dormitory and the Night Dormitory idolize him, and Little Qi can faintly sense the powerful force within him.
She has no desire to start trouble with anyone in this unfamiliar place. But after waiting for a long time in the Night Dormitory, the headmaster still hasn't taken her to meet her people.
Unable to bear it any longer, she goes to the headmaster to ask what is going on, only to be told that everyone in the Night Dormitory is one of her people.
How dare someone impersonate the great dragon clan?! And the one leading them is that school bully?!
Furious, Little Qi rises up in rebellion.
Notes:
1. The pairing is with Kurosu, Zero. I'm still thinking about Kiryuu Zero and Kuroshu Yuuki.
2. I haven't settled on a name yet. I'll change it when I start posting, including the title and the heroine's name. Her nickname is "Seven" because I really like how the character sounds in Japanese: "nana."
3. I personally think the world of Vampire Knight has no other nonhuman races, so the headmaster misunderstands Little Qi's identity and thinks she's a vampire. Since he sees that she is fairly friendly toward humans, he plans to take her to meet her "people."
4. I'll add more if I think of anything.
