A Thousand Autumns of Celebration

Many details are my own invention, so please don't nitpick. This is entirely fictional, with no real-life counterpart. I'm no good at writing blurbs, so please bear with me. You can read the author's note after Chapter One before deciding whether to continue! *Bows.* I don't recommend skipping chapters, as there's a lot of information.

Xie Congxuan, the Marquis of Dingyuan and governor of Jingzhou, was sentenced to death for treason. In a single night, hundreds of members of the Chen Commandery Xie clan were wiped out.

Xie Yu went from being the young master of the high and mighty Marquis of Dingyuan to a convict slave in the palace, where anyone could trample him underfoot.

No one took him seriously. The only exception was the young master of the Shen Shuxuan household, who was always on guard against him making a comeback.

Everyone at court thought Shen An hated the notorious Xie Yu most of all. At their first meeting, he pointed his sword at him and nearly killed him.

But no one could have imagined what would happen.

Later, when the young Xie Yu regained his footing and became the most notorious official at court, he entered the inner cabinet and ended up sleeping in the bed of Shen An, who had once regarded him as a thorn in his side.

Everyone thought Shen An would kick him out of the door.

But late one night, a brocade-clad guard saw Shen An carrying the disheveled Xie Yu out of the room.

He draped a cloak over him.

He drew him into his arms.

This world is unjust, but I will not throw it into chaos.

Though thousands stand in my way, I will go forward.

I will save this world.

For generations to come, our land and people will endure.

The author's writing is amateurish, and this is a completely fictional setting. Historical accuracy enthusiasts, please stay away. This story is not set in any specific historical dynasty.

This is a labor of love. The writing may not be polished, but both male leads are dear to my heart. They are both strong. The blurb describes the protagonists' courtesy names. Xie Yu is the bottom, and Shen An is the top. The character on the cover is the top~

A cool, reserved, secretly passionate upright official top x a fake villain, sickly, obsessive, beautiful bottom~

Everything is made up by the author.

A quick warning: the romance develops a little slowly, and there are quite a few characters. Please bear with me.

The author has no formal training in history~ Feel free to read as you like. The most important thing about reading fiction is having fun!
