She was too strong, and so forgot how to cry.
She was abandoned, and so wanted nothing at all.
She was never understood, and so always faced the world with a smile.
But who knows what lies behind that smile? Sorrow, hatred, or helplessness?
No one knows. Perhaps Han Xue herself doesn’t know, either. There is so much of it, all mixed together, that she can no longer tell the difference.
The heroine is a person of many sides, so changeable she defies description. Love once hurt her, and she no longer believes in it. She swears she wants security, not romance. But why does love have to come looking for her? After she transmigrates, the heroine is lazy. She expects nothing and doesn’t want to think about anything, because then she won’t be disappointed.
And when I say she’s slow, I mean slow to catch on when it comes to love.
