Just as she thinks the male lead now sees her as his own sister and she can finally let loose, she is bound hand and foot and locked in a dark room by the little black lotus, all because she got too close to one of the male lead's trusted aides.

But what awaits her is not the expected gruesome execution or the ultimate torture. Instead, the little black lotus chokes back tears as he says, "...Your Highness, I'll give you anything. There's just one thing I ask: no matter what happens, don't leave me."
