[Sorry, the journey made me lose control of my emotions. I've been a Pokemon fan for over twenty years. I love Pokemon for its pure passion and bonds, but Journeys ruined everything. This was originally a pre-release story commemorating Ash winning the Alola championship. The original setup was that Ash and Pikachu accidentally returned to the time they first met, in a lighthearted story celebrating his victory. The arrival of Journeys, and the character of Hau, ruined the worldbuilding and characterization Pokemon had built up over the years. The Project Mew storyline made it even harder for me to accept Gary. The Gary who fought so hard to protect Shieldon in DP had changed. So I decided to scrap the original outline and treat this as a memorial to the youth I can never get back. One thing I've always believed is that no Pokemon TV series could be worse than Black and White, and then Journeys appeared. All I can say is, no wonder it was written by Yonebayashi, who ruined Kamen Rider.] Original blurb: Ash accidentally returned to the past during a battle with poachers...
