"I used to believe only in myself. After meeting you, I could even make up a different name for myself on a whim."
In the second semester of their sophomore year of high school, a new transfer student dared to tease the discipline committee member in charge of the whole grade.
That year, Jiang Cha was seventeen, and the rough, delinquent kids from Class Ten always followed behind her, led by a human air conditioner.
He leaned against a lamppost on the road Jiang Cha always took home after school and smiled.
"When will you take me to Kyoto for a look around?"
Jiang Cha thought of the prosperity Huai City didn't have, nodded, and said yes, thanking him.
He raised an eyebrow, his voice full of charm.
"No need to thank me, little discipline officer. Just like me a little more."
This is probably a story about finding salvation.
Shen, a ruthless man of few words with a hidden past, × Jiang, a beautiful, gentle girl who takes her duties seriously.

Blurb for "Gentle Light-Giver":

The day Jinghang University and neighboring Hai University held an intercollegiate basketball game, the excitement reached an all-time high. The Jinghang crowd cheered so loudly it seemed to pierce the sky. Beating Hai University was secondary; their main goal was to see Zhou Yuanzheng, the legendary top student in the Flight Academy.
A fellow schoolmate couldn't stand watching their team get outshone again and again on the court. Furious and frustrated, they could only flip off Zhou Yuanzheng, the unruly Jinghang forward at the center of the court.
As the game entered its later stages, the score gap between the teams grew wider. With Hai University looking unlikely to make a comeback, their captain wore a long face and sighed as he looked at the Jinghang players, each half a head taller than him and built like iron.
Meng Ying, an assistant accompanying the team, thought this game wouldn't be hard to turn around. Losing the game was secondary; beating Zhou Yuanzheng was the real prize. Besides, she'd been thinking about him for her entire youth.

With just a few words at the basketball game, Meng Ying saw right through Jinghang's play and made the Flight Academy, which had won the title for n consecutive years, lose its crown. From then on, she became the number one target of hatred for every guy at Jinghang University.
The guys stayed up all night plotting their next move. In the end, they decided on seduction: no girl could resist Zhou Yuanzheng's charms.
On Christmas Eve, a rowdy gang of guys cornered Meng Ying on a small road. Amid the cheering, they shoved Zhou Yuanzheng forward, and he confessed without a care in the world: "I like you."
Meng Ying didn't bat an eye. "Oh? How much?"
Zhou Yuanzheng's reply was completely insincere. "I like you so much I'd die. Happy now?"
Meng Ying sneered. "Fine. I'll make your wish come true."
With that, she picked up a brick from the ground and slammed it into his forehead, sending Zhou Yuanzheng to the hospital.
Everyone: ... Never been this speechless.
.
Meng Ying had someone in her heart, but that person had been a painful presence in her youth.
She couldn't forget the top floor of the senior-year classroom building, where he confessed to her in the gloom. Nervously clutching the hem of her clothes, she softly said, "Yes."
A few boys sprang out from a corner, laughing and applauding. Zhou Yuanzheng was as carefree as ever. He lifted his eyelids slightly, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Sorry, I've changed my mind."
After that day, Meng Ying studied and danced.
She had one goal: to make Zhou Yuanzheng live for her and die for her.
