When I Put on a White Coat

The story of a resident doctor. Health is entrusted to us, and lives are placed in our hands. As I enter the sacred halls of medical learning, I solemnly swear: I dedicate myself to medicine, love my country, serve the people, uphold medical ethics, respect my teachers and observe discipline, study diligently and tirelessly, strive for excellence, and develop in all respects. I resolve to do everything in my power to relieve humanity's suffering, promote health and well-being, safeguard the sanctity and honor of medicine, save lives and heal the wounded without fear of hardship, and strive with unwavering devotion for the rest of my life for the development of my country's medical and health services and the physical and mental well-being of humanity.
