The blurb for my upcoming novel, "What's So Fun About Ascending? Raising Fluffballs Is Way Better," is at the very bottom. If you like it, feel free to add it to your favorites!
Due to some real-life matters, this novel's updates will now come at either 3 p.m. or 6 p.m. Thank you for your support! (bows)
Blurb:
Lu Tingyun transmigrates into a book and becomes a villain everyone wants dead, the kind who ends up dying horribly at the male lead's hands.
The System demands that she follow the original plot to the letter. But just as she's diligently chasing after the male lead and drawing his hatred, the story starts veering wildly off course.
Why does the male lead, who should hate her to the core, look at her in a way that gives her goosebumps?
Why does the junior sister, who should have a secret crush on him, keep giving them weird looks and muttering, "I'm shipping it! I'm shipping it!"?
Why does the male lead's master, who should be upright and incorruptible, and despise all evil, look at her with the satisfaction of a father-in-law admiring his future daughter-in-law?
Why, when one of them is a demonic villain and the other a great leader of the righteous sects, are fan comics about them selling like hotcakes throughout the entire cultivation world?
She pounds on the System: "There's no way I can complete the task you gave me! How am I supposed to follow this plot?"
The System replies: "Actually, based on your consistently excellent performance, I already replaced the script, 'The Cannon Fodder Villain Helps the Male Lead Level Up,' with 'The Cold Villain's Righteous Puppy Husband.' Surprised? Happy?"
Lu Tingyun: "..."
So in the end, was she the only one taking the plot seriously?
As Qi Mo Yin knocks out everyone who voices an objection, he gazes at her with shining eyes. "A Yun, look. Everyone thinks we're already married. Will you agree to be with me?"
A female lead who pretends to be a cold, powerful demonic cultivator but is actually an inner-monologue machine who gives herself away the moment she's provoked VS a male lead who seems harmless but is secretly an ungovernable menace
Blurb for my upcoming novel, "What's So Fun About Ascending? Raising Fluffballs Is Way Better":
At some point, ascending in the cultivation world stopped depending solely on one's cultivation level. Now, points matter too.
Like leveling up in a game, you can earn points by improving your cultivation, fighting monsters, saving lives, and more.
As time passed, the points system quickly expanded to include trading. People could exchange points for magical treasures, medicinal pills, delicacies, and more. Overnight, medical cultivators became the most laid-back yet wealthiest profession, with one exception: Mu Zhaoyue.
A workaholic, she's still spending more than she earns. No one can understand why she's so devoted to a spirit pet that costs a fortune and can't do anything.
It won't eat beast feed worth 900 points if it can have feed worth 1,000. It needs a jade-silk cushion to sleep on and natural spirit spring water to drink. Even brushing its fur requires a comb made from thousand-year-old phoenix wood.
Mu Zhaoyue works tirelessly while petting her fluffball, caught between pain and joy, because this spirit pet is just... too cute!
She thought this was how she'd spend the rest of her life, until one day she woke up to find a gorgeous, muscular man yawning in her arms...
Mu Zhaoyue: "..."
Yin Luo nuzzles her shoulder. "Mm, I saw how hard you work, so I showed you my true form as a reward. What, are you too moved to speak?"
Mu Zhaoyue gives him a cold look. "Sorry, I'm immune to everything that isn't fluffy."
Yin Luo: "If you say you're moved, I'll give you 10,000 points."
Mu Zhaoyue hugs him and wails, "Boss! You're my real dad!"
And ever since her little spirit beast awakened, people have been scrambling to trade points with her for some reason...
A seemingly powerful girl who counts every penny and works at full speed to make money VS a supremely powerful, precious bigshot who's unbelievably laid-back
1v1, both leads are each other's first, happy ending
The male lead is a fortune-bringing divine beast!
Theme: Lying flat and letting yourself be tormented can be a kind of wisdom
Some details are indeed not handled well, the plot connection is not smooth, and there is little emotional foreshadowing, but the writing is still good, so keep working hard.
If only it turned out to be a neat and tidy implementation of the original plan.
I really like this article, but I feel that the relationship between the male and female protagonists is a bit lacking, so the author must continue to work hard and support you.
Damn, the heroine's name is typed wrong in the middle section.
