Yun Qi is a scumbag: he never makes the first move, never turns anyone down, and never takes responsibility. Bai Ze knows that.
Bai Ze is a pathetic simp with no pride, no boundaries, and no principles. He knows that too.
But he can't understand why, after devoting himself completely to sucking up to Yun Qi, Yun Qi would suddenly leave him. He refuses to believe that anyone in this world could be more skilled at being a simp than he is. It's practically an insult to his abilities!
In a fit of rage, Bai Ze chooses to go dark and hunt Yun Qi down.
Unexpectedly, the chase takes him into a novel, where he loses all his memories and is forced to play a role.
There's a gorgeous male supporting character in the novel who also follows the three rules to the letter:
Never make him angry, never refuse his requests, and never flirt with other dogs.
Later, after regaining his memories, Bai Ze realizes that the male supporting character is that bastard Yun Qi.
Yun Qi watches him confess and says, "Come back. My fishpond can't do without you."
Great, he caught up with him.
Whether he kills him depends on how he behaves.
Quick transmigration arcs, tentatively: 1. The Lost Peach Blossom Spring; 2. The Revelry of [Censored]; 3. Glory at Your Fingertips; 4. The Fallen Po Jun; 5. The Promised Land Beyond Reach
The gong is not a scumbag! The gong is not a scumbag! The gong is not a scumbag! Important things must be said three times! There's only one fish in that enormous fishpond!
Theme: Human nature is complex, with both light and shadow, but people always rely on beautiful things to carry on
Why didn't the author continue writing? Got it?
