My new novel, The Cheat-Fueled Life of a Female Physician in the 1970s, is currently being serialized!
Synopsis:
Lan Ying'er comes to the capital to uncover the truth behind her father's death. Thanks to her excellent cooking, she has the Embroidered Uniform Guard officer Wen Chen completely under her spell.
She desperately clings to Wen Chen, hoping he'll recommend her for a constable's position at the Yingtian Prefecture government office. She not only keeps Wen Chen's belly full, but also helps him solve cases. She truly leaves no stone unturned.
Unfortunately, no matter how hard she tries, Wen Chen won't give in. She figures she'll just have to offer herself to him. It's not as if she'd lose out.
Then one day, Wen Chen tells her, "Rather than recommend you to the Yingtian Prefecture, I could recommend you to the Embroidered Uniform Guard."
Lan Ying'er is overjoyed and asks what the job is. Wen Chen: "The kitchen."
Bonus Scene 1:
Coming out of the palace, Wen Chen: "I'm hungry!"
Coming out of the imperial prison, Wen Chen: "I'm hungry!"
Coming out of the government office, Wen Chen: "I'm hungry!"
Every time, Lan Ying'er calls back, "Coming right up! Braised pig's trotters, stewed mutton, sliced fish..."
Years later, with red decorations filling the room, Wen Chen says, "I'm hungry!"
Lan Ying'er starts to lift her veil. "I'll go cook."
Wen Chen holds her back. "I'm not hungry in my stomach!"
Bonus Scene 2:
Lan Ying'er: I can read everyone's thoughts, except yours.
Wen Chen: That's because my good looks have you bewitched.
Lan Ying'er: Then sell those good looks to me.
Wen Chen raises his palm. "In exchange for your delicious food."
The two immediately reach an agreement.
Reader's Guide:
1. This story is set in an alternate version of the Ming Dynasty, with plenty of creative liberties. The characters and story are fictional.
2. The recipes in this novel come from two sources. Some are modern recipes, blended together chaotically by me (the silly author); others come from ancient books such as Suiyuan Shidan, Songshi Yangsheng Bu, and Tiaoding Ji. If you see similar recipes in other novels, they all come from the same ancient sources.
3. The male lead starts out as a mere company commander, not some big shot. He and the female lead will grow together.
4. Warning: The male lead is tsundere, extremely tsundere. The female lead has her flaws too...
Currently serializing a new novel, The County Magistrate's Bride (Mystery Cases)
Synopsis:
Female Lead's Story: Mo Xiaojiu, the pride of the forensic field, transmigrates into the role of a wicked female antagonist in a historical romance.
The antagonist was sold to a brothel by the male lead after framing her legitimate elder sister. Later, someone killed her, and her body was dumped in a mass grave.
Mo Xiaojiu arrives just as she is being taken to the brothel, where several tragic murders have occurred in quick succession over the past month.
Hoping to win her freedom, she uses her professional expertise to help the government office find the killer and secure a new identity. From then on, she disguises herself as a man, studies day and night, and passes the imperial exam as the top candidate in her province.
She only wants to become a minor official, enjoy an easy life, and earn a government salary. She gets her wish and becomes an assistant county magistrate, but the county lies on the frontier, where the government office is often attacked and massacred. On top of that, her superior is a brutal county magistrate rumored to kill without mercy. How will she manage?
Naturally, she'll get promoted and become county magistrate herself!
The yamen's clerk is also incredibly irritating. She dreams of beating him to death every night! But he's rich and handsome, so she'll put up with him!
Not long after Mo Xiaojiu becomes county magistrate, a popular rhyme spreads through the county:
County Magistrate Mo solves every case, and sends the wicked to the gates of the underworld;
Master Wu climbs the rafters, and the wicked end up with broken legs.
Not long afterward, another rhyme spreads through the county:
County Magistrate Mo's robe sleeve is cut, and Master Wu embraces her;
Master Wu loves no beauty, only the county magistrate.
This is the story of a female county magistrate and a stunningly handsome clerk who live together, uncover each other's secret identities, and solve cases side by side.
It's also the story of an irreverent prince who must chase his beloved through a hell of his own making!
Clerk: My lord, there's a ghost next door. I have no choice but to sleep in your room.
Magistrate: Hmm! Go ahead! (A grown man, afraid of ghosts?)
Clerk: My lord, it's cold at night. I wish to share your blanket.
Magistrate: Hmm! Go sleep somewhere else!
Clerk: ...
Magistrate: Y-you! You have some nerve!
Male Lead's Story: Yan Wushi avoids the struggle for the throne by using travel as an excuse to settle in a small county. There he unexpectedly meets a remarkable woman who can solve strange cases and examine corpses. He puts on ordinary clothes and secretly protects her all the way from scholar to county magistrate, then takes a job as a clerk at the yamen. After working there for a while, he realizes that County Magistrate "My Lord" is simply irresistible. He's so smitten that he no longer wants to return to the capital.
Warning:
1. The male lead is irreverent, extremely irreverent, and loves teasing the female lead.
2. The female lead is often not very bright outside of solving cases. She's fairly sensible with other people, but turns foolish whenever the male lead is around. In other words, she's an idiot.
3. The romance is the main focus, with mystery-solving as a secondary element.
Recommended completed novel: The Reborn Herb-Wielding Daughter of the Household, a medical-woman-farming story. It's currently in the process of securing traditional-character publication rights. I hope everything goes smoothly!

Why, why did you let Zhan Qiu die? You can't do this ah ah ah, how about you write a story about Zhan Qiu being reincarnated into modern times and becoming a military expert? Ah ah ah how can you let Zhan Qiu die? People like Zhan Qiu the most, such a pure and talented person with limited limits ah ah, you may not be able to find it in reality ah ah, in the world of novels, give a complete ah ah ah
The people in this book are a bit complicated. I still like to see the male and female protagonists working together to solve the case, rather than talking about the case. I don't like the last part very much. The heroine is trapped in love and hatred, and is tangled.
Is this male protagonist a bit of a scumbag? He was the one who flirted with her first. He knew the heroine's background and ended the relationship unilaterally without saying anything. Tsk
The word "son" is wrong. In layman's terms, "son" means "your son". How could anyone call his son "son"?
Couldn't the prototype of the heroine's father be Jie Jin from the Ming Dynasty?
58.8% Catching insects is a pardon, not a immunity
Didn't he say that he would be found within ten days? Why did you say three days again?
Is Wen Chen's father related to Xie Jin's case?
The murderer is Aunt Qi's lover, Mao Lang??
How can an outsider pay for the food my wife buys? Hahahaha
