Growing up, Murong was deeply influenced by the feudal traditional beliefs of the countryside, and often doubted herself and the world around her. But like other girls, she also loved to dream and imagine her future. At university, she met Su Jingran through a volunteer teaching program. Their story follows them as they admire one another, move forward hand in hand, and ultimately achieve their dreams together, earning places in doctoral programs at the top universities P and T.
This story has no tired, cliched plotlines. I simply wanted to write about beautiful college memories, and about a man and a woman who meet, get to know each other, and fall in love over their shared interests, growing together, healing each other, and running toward their dreams side by side.
