After the Little Apothecary Picked Up the Demon Lord

Soft-hearted, adorable little darling x scheming, jealous archdemon

Ying Chao, a little medicine cultivator, was a fossil spirit cultivator of the Ten Thousand Medicines Sect, earning her living by growing spirit herbs. Her magic was weak, and she was no good at fighting.

One day, while she was diligently tending her little spirit herb seedlings, a demon cultivator fell from the sky and crushed every precious seedling she'd just planted.

A knife was stuck in the demon cultivator, and he was bleeding.

A whole year of Ying Chao's hard work had gone to waste.

Frightened, Ying Chao poked the demon cultivator. "...Y-you can't die. You have to pay me back! QAQ"

The demon cultivator didn't move.

To make the demon cultivator wake up and pay her, Ying Chao carried him into her little house.

She cooked him fragrant, warming spirit herb porridge, fed him a hard-won resurrection pill, carefully bandaged his wounds, and changed his medicine... nursing him back to health while he was unconscious.

When his "Heartbreak" curse flared up, she even held him gently and took his hand to ease the pain.

Ying Chao cared for him devotedly, and finally, one day, the demon cultivator woke up!

His eyes were dark and blue, the demonic markings on his face had completely disappeared, and his features were strikingly beautiful and sharply defined. His skin was as pale as jade. He looked at Ying Chao gently.

Ying Chao fed him a spirit-locking pill. Blushing, she looked at him with bright, shining eyes, just as she had countless times while giving him medicine, and asked softly:

"You're awake. Could you pay me back for the spirit herb seedlings you crushed?"

The demon cultivator's gaze paused. Smiling, he spat out the spirit-locking pill he'd just swallowed and tied her up, taking her back to the Demon Realm.
