Shen Yifan is a rookie who has just entered the scene, yet he favors the most old-fashioned tactics. Unfortunately, before he gets a chance to compete in esports, his team goes down in flames.
He looked up to the heavens and asked, "Heaven, do you look down on me?"
Heaven replied, "Fool! I'm creating a chance for you to meet a top player! See that shining star? He'll be spending every day with you from now on. Get down on your knees and thank me!"
And so, under the top player's friendly (sinister) and caring (snarky) attention, Shen Yifan gradually got on track.
He also met a group of like-minded teammates: one adorable smooth-talker, one super foodie with a perpetually poker-faced expression, and one walking jinx whose predictions always come true.
A dream he never dared to reach for gradually became reality. He gave it his all and climbed to the top alongside his team.
