My Chief, My Regiment: At Last, Dawn

Zhang Lixian died at the Southern Heavenly Gate, killed by his own gun, his faith in Division Yu shattered. Meng Fanliao and Xiao Zui still couldn't be together. Their mutual love wasn't enough to earn them a lifetime side by side. In a war-torn world, they had no right to ask for more. The story can't go on, and that's a good thing, though still heartbreaking. The cannon-fodder squad weren't numbers. They were each vibrant lives, people who had once lived so vividly and brilliantly.
