The Divine Venerable Is More Bent Than a Scythe

Fu Qing is a divine descendant several generations removed from the gods, better than some but not as good as others. He does everything a spoiled young master would, yet the immortals can never find fault with him. Until one day, after drinking too much, Fu Qing makes a bet with his friends and goes to bother the child everyone else's parents wish they had: the revered god Xuan Yi. That night, he not only causes a huge commotion on Mount Kunwu, but also damages the barrier around the Demon-Suppressing Pagoda, allowing the monsters imprisoned inside to escape and creating a calamity of epic proportions. You make a mess, you clean it up. Fu Qing decides to personally capture all the escaped monsters. To his surprise, the revered god Xuan Yi, whom he had teased, comes to help. An irreverent immortal and a serious one have nothing to talk about. They barely say five words to each other in a day, and Fu Qing feels like he's going to suffocate. Unable to take it anymore, Fu Qing says, "My lord, let's split up." Xuan Yi refuses outright. "No. Your cultivation is too weak." Fu Qing: "..." The next day, while capturing the calamity beast Huodou, Fu Qing swallows his frustration, stops slacking off, and captures it single-handedly. Soon, Fu Qing suggests splitting up again. He's strong enough now! Xuan Yi looks at him coldly. "Are you that eager to get rid of me?" Before Fu Qing can deny it, Xuan Yi continues, "Too late. You teased me three times. Either take responsibility, or die!" Theme: A match made in heaven
