[The story of Ah Huai and Xuanxuan's daughter, The Air in Yanjing Was Fresher After the Divorce, is in my series! There's also a similar upcoming novel, The Runaway Princess of Yanjing.]
Blurb:
A beautiful concubine who's not what she seems X The former obsessive, cold, sinister, and cruel villain
Happy ending, both are each other's first
While other emperors enjoy music and dancing at palace banquets, Yan Huai, who has the persona of a tyrannical villain, has a very unusual hobby: he likes to randomly kill a few consorts for fun.
As she watches the number of consorts in the harem dwindle, Bo Xuan decides to find herself a way to survive, such as taking a sword for him to win his favor.
Then she gets stabbed to death. Ha.
After being reborn, Bo Xuan thinks Heaven has given her a chance to make up for her mistakes. But before she can run away, she's forced back into the palace.
The one small blessing in her misfortune is that the villain has also been reborn. Bo Xuan feels much better. At least taking that sword wasn't for nothing.
Bo Xuan: I'll use this goodwill to hang on until the male lead surrounds Yanjing with his army. Then I'll escape the palace in the chaos, move to the countryside, and become a rich widow with a harem of handsome young men.
Yan Huai: The Noble Consort took a sword for me. She truly loves me with all her heart.
One year, two years, five years, ten years.
By the time Bo Xuan has given birth to her second child, she still hasn't seen the legendary male lead who was supposed to surround Yanjing with his army.

Anonymous question: Why have I, the heroine, still never met the rumored destined male lead in either of my two lives? And why do I always end up getting involved with the villain?

The second rule in Yanjing's noble romance guidebook, Tales of Love and the Moon: Casually mention something touching you've done for her.
Yan Huai: In my previous life, after you died, I held your body in my arms for three whole days and couldn't bear to let go. Touching?
Bo Xuan: ...
[Please add my upcoming novel to your reading list! The blurb is below.]
The Runaway Princess of Yanjing
Bo Yan x Yue Chi
A breathtakingly beautiful and pampered princess X A rebellious, free-spirited young man
Yue Chi has always lived carefree among all sorts of unsavory characters, but his mother doesn't want him wasting his days. Before she died, she left him a final wish: make something of himself and earn an official title.
Yue Chi thinks that's easy enough.
He found a connection and paid someone up the chain, hoping to spend a couple of years with the army guarding the frontier and polish his resume. He didn't expect to have paid a little too much, and ended up assigned to the palace guards, a cushy post where sons of noble families while away their days.
Since he's here, he might as well make the best of it. Guarding the palace is fine.
When the palace gates were breached, the other guards and palace maids desperately grabbed gold and jewelry and ran for their lives. Yue Chi alone took nothing at all.
Well, he did run off with a princess, though he was forced into it.
Not that the princess was forced. He was.
The elderly emperor was suspicious by nature, and summoned the children of the regional princes to the capital as hostages.
Bo Yan was one of them.
She knew the royal family was debauched and incompetent, and that a new ruler would eventually rise. Not wanting to hold her own father back, she had been plotting how to escape.
Just then, several princes took turns trying to seize the throne, plunging Yanjing into chaos.
Bo Yan found the palace guard she had once saved and used that debt to demand he escort her back to Nanning. She then tempted him with promises of a high-ranking position and great wealth.
Sure enough, he agreed.
Bo Yan needed someone to protect her.
Yue Chi needed a high position and great wealth to fulfill his mother's final wish.
They hit it off and set off together on their escape.
What Yue Chi didn't expect was that before he could secure his position and wealth, this pampered princess had already emptied his pockets.
He'd thought he was just escorting someone home. He never imagined he'd end up traveling a thousand miles to become a live-in son-in-law.
Yue Chi's reaction: Damn it.
Theme: Learn to love life
Wow, oh, oh, so reluctant to part with this book. I collected this book a long time ago. The few I have read recently are all about starting and ending well. I accidentally opened this book and was very pleasantly surprised. The writing is very good, especially the details of getting along. I don't know how the writing is sweet but not greasy. Is it possible that Da Da is already married? Then I have a husband who I love very much, hahahahaha. The sculpting of the characters is also very pleasing, just like this tyrant and sickly emperor. Usually, most of the genres I watch have a feeling, that is, the love between the male protagonist and the female protagonist is like a setting, like a taut thread without waves from beginning to end. Anyway, I feel so sad! The sickly lady and the little noble concubine must stay together every year!
Three brushes completed. It's really good-looking, and it's true that it's ordinary. I have to dig it out every once in a while to reflect on it, it's really beautiful.
I was actually wondering if the male protagonist was lying on the roof of the car with his butt naked. Hahahahahaha. It's hopeless.
I really like this kind of sweet article, sweet, plain, and without a third party.
A great little sweet article, I hope everyone can find their own redemption, and I hope the person being redeemed can cherish this love.
N. I brushed it. When will the new article be published?
Help, this really pokes fun at me. Have you considered expanding it into a full-length novel?!!!!!
Woohoo N I still love it so much after reading it. I hope I can see my wife's new posts in my lifetime.
I really liked the series when I read it. I look back on it often. Madam, please write a new article soon.
Goodbye! Looking forward to other articles from the author
