A Prince of Tennis fanfic, mainly focused on Tezuka/Fuji, with a setting reminiscent of an ancient Japanese court. Tezuka is the emperor of a kingdom. He has no family, friends, or lover, and trusts no one. He is a man devoid of feeling, like a walking corpse. Fuji Syusuke is a mysterious man whom Atobe and Tezuka encounter at an ancient temple. Tezuka brings him back to the palace, and Fuji becomes extraordinarily devoted to him.
One is a solitary cloud on a mountain, shutting all emotion out behind walls of his own making, cold and selfish from beginning to end.
The other is a moth flying into a flame, knowing only destruction awaits yet still moving forward, pouring out all his tenderness, and never regretting it, even when left with nothing but tears.
I like this setting. . . Such Tezuka and Fuji. . . Reminds me of destiny
