A Wizard's Dark Magic, City-Building, and Farming Journal
Aivenna, the "notorious" black wizard of the August Empire, inherited a remote county and became its lord.
From then on, countless terrifying rumors began to circulate in Aidingsen.
How awful! That evil wizard has turned all the commoners in her domain into skeletons and puppets!
I hear she likes to paint with freshly flayed human skin. Good heavens, why won't the gods punish such a demon!
Aivenna, absorbed in farming: "???" I'm that twisted? How come I didn't know?
Prejudice is the "devil," and the "devil" is prejudice.
As a black wizard, Aivenna is the "devil" defined by society's prejudice.
And so, everything she did was given an explanation.
For example, collecting manure from across her territory to use as fertilizer, forcing her medieval subjects to bathe, making all sorts of elaborate dishes, building homes for low-status slaves... All of these things were often interpreted by others as "the devil's instructions."
In the end, "the devil's instructions" built a prosperous city-state.
The "devil" had triumphed over prejudice.
1. City-building, magic, food, and farming.
2. The male lead is background decoration. What does a city-building story need a male lead for?
3. Not traditional Western fantasy. It's categorized as Western fantasy because of the setting, but it's really a city-building and farming story wearing a Western fantasy skin, in an alternate world.
4. An illogical power fantasy. The heroine has an extremely powerful golden finger and is already a big shot when she appears. No nitpicking, please.
