Through the power of a mysterious force from the East, veteran gamer Qi Chen transmigrates into the NPC of the full-dive game Ancient Times.
The senior brother of the Guizhen Sect: handsome and dashing, powerful, a big shot in the immortal realm, and the face of his sect. He's perfect in every way. His only flaw is that he's short-lived!
Qi Chen is dumbfounded: The Guizhen Sect was wiped out before Ancient Times even launched!
Ding!
System notification: [Time until Ancient Times open beta: 99 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes]
Qi Chen is horrified: What the hell, I only get to live for a hundred days?!
System, that's not playing fair!
Sword Demon Xie Weizhi betrayed the immortals and turned to demonic cultivation, destroying the Guizhen Sect and coldly accepting the infamy.
But why did the sword he plunged into Qi Chen's chest hurt him so much?
Qi Chen: Silly junior brother, that's because your senior brother here has a damage-reflecting skill.
Later
Qi Chen: Xie Weizhi, why aren't you staying in your dungeon to torment players? Why are you chasing me?
Xie Weizhi: My senior brother possesses a rare treasure, and the demons covet it.
Qi Chen: What demon is stupid enough to covet me?
Xie Weizhi: Me.
Qi Chen: …
