Owner: Yan Jiujun, the King of Hell. He never smiles and is said to be mute.
Accountant: Pan Gu'an, the Judge. He smiles at everyone and is said to be a chatterbox.
Two waiters: Niu Yingjun, Ox-Head, and Ma Dashuai, Horse-Face.
Chef: Meng Meili, Granny Meng. Her signature dish is Granny Meng's Soup.
Two security guards: Bai Rumo, White Impermanence, and Hei Ruyun, Black Impermanence.
The inn's artificial pool is called the River of Forgetfulness.
The arched bridge connecting the east and west wings is called the Bridge of Helplessness.
The red flowers on either side of the pool are called the Flowers of the Other Shore.
Across from the inn is a haunted house called the Eighteen Levels of Hell. It's said to have all eighteen levels. Everyone who enters upright comes out flat on their back, with an ambulance waiting outside right on schedule.
The Jiujun Inn is open during the day, and Hell opens at night.
