Faking My Way to the Top

#Gorgeous, vixen-like older woman vs. a once-sweet puppy who turns dark, with a groveling chase to win her back#

To save her company from its troubles, Yu Shuyu attended a party.

Her former best friend mocked her, proudly holding on to the arm of the puppy Yu Shuyu had carefully raised.

Yu Shuyu smiled seductively, then poured a glass of red wine over her former friend's head and strode away.

Now, Sui Tingyun was a hugely popular star, noble and carefree.

Back then, he had been a young man cast out of his home, with nothing to his name.

Yu Shuyu had taken him in, treated him like a younger brother, and made him an artist at her company.

Then one night of passion changed everything, and rumors spread everywhere.

Sui Tingyun said he wanted to leave. Yu Shuyu promptly ended his contract and set him free.

She could just consider it raising an ungrateful stray.

Sui Tingyun thought he had enough patience to watch from the sidelines.

He would wait for the woman who had toyed with his feelings to fall from the clouds into the mud, then take control of both her body and her heart.

But he never expected that one day he would cling to her, eyes red, like an abandoned dog.

"Don't send me away again. Whatever you want, I'll give you."
