Notes and warnings:

1. Lighthearted daily life, one-on-one romance, happy ending, both leads' first relationship. [Important: the romance is slow to develop.]

2. There isn't much groveling from the male lead. If you're really looking for a dramatic pursuit of the female lead after he wrongs her, this may not be for you, so you can avoid disappointment.

3. The setting is very loosely based on the Tang and Song dynasties, with plenty of original details. No historical corrections, please.

4. If you don't like it, feel free to drop it without telling me.

5. You can criticize the characters, but not the author.

2. Expect melodramatic misunderstandings, old-school romance, and some elements of a forced relationship. The author is a hopeless romantic who loves both writing and reading this stuff.

3. The female lead is fragile, but not foolish.

4. The setting is entirely fictional. No historical fact-checking or writing advice, please.
