My take on a Kurapika redemption story.
BG romance, with an original heroine. It contains a lot of fantasy, introspection, and descriptions of scenery, as well as reflections on people and the meaning of life. I started this story in 2020. It covers most of the questions that troubled me throughout my youth, along with a few answers that aren't quite answers. In that sense, it's probably different from traditional web novels, and not quite as easy to read.
The prose is probably delicate, and the descriptions could be called lush. The overall pacing is fairly slow.
I treasure this story deeply and love every character. I've revised and polished every word and sentence over and over, and I've read through the whole thing at least five times myself. One day, sooner or later, I'll finish it, when I'm ready to accept the story reaching its end.
When I first started writing this story, I copied out every line Kurapika says in the anime to get his character right. I also recorded and summarized his gestures, habits, and attitudes toward different things. I filled a notebook with detailed story ideas, and it's still in my desk drawer. Sometimes, when I can't remember a detail, I take it out and look through it.
Five years is a long time. By now, I've been out of college for ages. Even if not many people read it, I've poured my whole heart into making the story as good as I can. To me, "Sheng Sang" has become part of my soul. Whenever I think of it, I feel at peace.
That's about it. If that sounds all right to you, please keep reading. The first half is fairly lighthearted, while the second half has a lot more angst and grows increasingly heavy. But it will have a happy ending. I decided that before I even started writing this story.
I hope you enjoy reading it.
Synopsis:
After transmigrating to a strange new world, where a god grants her some bizarre new ability, the heroine spends a while hanging around with a killer and a weirdo. Then, one rainy night, she suddenly finds a huge golden dog.
Wait? No, it's a person?
And so two children, abandoned by the whole world, meet.
Theme: A guide to raising Kurapika
Tied... Kurapika is so gentle. The first time I watched Hunter was in the fifth grade of elementary school. I actually didn't understand much at the time, but I had a deep impression of this character. When I was in junior high school, I read a lot of Hunter fanfics, but I never saw one with him as the protagonist. The protagonists at that time were basically Hisoka/Chrollo/Elmi. Some stories with the leader as the male protagonist would write Xiao Ku to death, and some stories would have a very shocking plot like "Three sentences to make Kurapika give up revenge." There is no perfect rescue in my heart, but I think he deserves to be saved, deserves to be loved, or deserves to get a better ending in another pen. Many years have passed now. I am already in college. In fact, I haven't read the fanfic for a long, long time, and I haven't followed the Hunter comics for a long, long time. I am very afraid that Coola's ending will be tragic. After all, he is a character that I liked very much when I was a child, so I don't dare to continue to follow the original work. "Sheng Sang" is the gentlest portrayal of this character that I have ever seen. It is also a good interpretation of the alternative ending of Coola that I fantasized about when I was a child. I am looking forward to the ending of Sheng Sang and Xiao Cool. In fact, the author's depiction of Coola as a child makes me feel incredible, like "ah, so he can joke like this and be so relaxed" or... He should be like this. When I recall when I was a child, I always felt that this character had a suffocating heaviness. I always felt that he should be an image of a victim who always frowns. I really like my wife's description of the scenes. The detailed daily fantasy and violent things are blended together, but... Very harmonious. It seems that I have also watched all this. I think the author must also be a gentle person in real life.
It seems like the author's wife hasn't updated for a long time. I'm really looking forward to seeing the follow-up to this story TT
I wanted to check it out, but I didn't expect it to be updated! So happy! I want to express my love for the author's wife! Forgive me for my lack of vocabulary. I can only say that I really like this article. Mrs. QAQ's words are really warm and make people want to cry and feel warm at the same time. I just finished reading it in one sitting a while ago. I really like the heroine like Sheng Sang. I can understand her various moods and worries. What impressed me the most was the part where Sang Sang and Coola went to the church to retrieve the flaming eyes. Sang Sang's reaction to seeing Coola was really heartbreaking. Then I always felt that Yu was a very special person. Although he only existed in memories, he was a character who had a profound influence on Sheng Sang in some aspects. Finally, let me comment on this lip-sync between Leorio and Coola, it's so funny hahahahaha Then the author's wife gradually became more and more aware that the third dimension is more important. She is very satisfied to see this.
In the end, did Sang-san and Coola go to home plate/Probe
Yes, it's so romantic. The last words about moonlight, moon, tides and earth came out of their mouths and felt so fateful.
Anyway, I'm watching. Alas, my understanding is this. Kittens and puppies will not betray them, but people will... They may not have seen many normal humans who are not white-eyed wolves in their lives. I have no intention of clearing my name. I still feel that every grievance has its owner and its owner. If I find someone to vent my anger on, it's still a shame.
Why is it so well written that no one reads it?
What a beautiful and cruel adventure. I hope their story never ends.
The boss wrote so well! (Chew, chew, chew)
