An Uncanny Couple

A cross-franchise pairing idea that came to me out of nowhere. All the characters are old enough to be upfront about their ages. 1. Hinata vs. Sasuke: The heiress and the second son 2. Sakura vs. Sasori: The goal is to become Hokage 3. Hotaru Imai vs. Kusuke Saiki: Inventing Alice and a genius masochist 4. Guriguri vs. Kamui the Hare God: The Long-Ear Clan and the Yato Clan The first story is about Sasuke and Hinata. A long, long time ago, when Naruto first came out, my favorite was Sasuke, the second son. But later, when he ran off with Orochimaru, I turned from a fan into a hater for a while and switched over to Gaara’s camp next door. But later still, even though Sasuke went along with Orochimaru and developed some very strange fashion sense, his open shirt and gleaming white chest made me forgive his clothes. I’m just that shallow! So this is a story about a fan coming back around. P.S. A long, long time ago, when I first saw Sakura, I thought she could be stronger. But whenever something happened, she cried, and her infatuation with Sasuke made no sense. For a while, it made me want to speak up for "independent women," so I wrote The Goal: Hokage, hoping Sakura could use all the skills she’d learned to strike out on her own instead of relying on men. Of course, I didn’t write it well in the end. My abilities are limited! Anyway, since I already gave Sakura her own path, I split up Sasuke with his original pairing. I’ve always thought Sasuke and Hinata would make a great match, with her Byakugan and his Sharingan! And Boruto has some kind of purified eye, but I think Hinata and Sasuke could have a whole bunch of kids with Rinnegan! P.S. There’s no deep plot, just sweet romance. My rule for pairing people up is simple: I don’t care if they look good together, if their personalities match, or if they’re from the same kind of series. If I like them, I’ll put them together. Theme: Setting up cross-franchise blind dates for characters I like.
