Blurb:
The woman who sits upon the throne of Wei is named Jiang Jian Yue.
Everyone knows that the empress has two great loves: Prime Minister Su Yan, and absolute power.
Later, she loves only power.
But no one knows that the name Jian Yue was also given to her by Su Yan.
[Calculating, mad empress VS upright and principled prime minister]
#He once rejoiced at the sight of the moon. Later, the sight of it brought him sorrow.#
#And later still, as the moon waxed and waned, he came to understand the sorrows of their parting and reunion.#
Notes:
1. The leads are not perfect. The heroine will lose her mind, and the hero will be conflicted. The romance is a slow burn, with a happy ending.
2. The heroine is not a virgin, while the hero is. During his exile, the heroine will have other partners. Please read with caution if this bothers you.
3. Includes some role-reversed coercive romance, with the empress forcing the prime minister. The heroine is older. Please read with caution if this bothers you.
Upcoming story, Gazing at the Clouds:
During an autumn hunt at Shanglin Park, the Crown Princess is assassinated.
A poisoned arrow pierces Jiang Zhanyun's chest. As she falls from a cliff into a stream below, she suddenly thinks of the young general away at war.
Before he left for the campaign, on their wedding night, the two of them had a terrible argument.
"I'll grant your wish. I hope you win glory as a general and come back wrapped in your own corpse! Don't come back and get in my way!"
Well, that's that. She died before him.
Now he can finally have his way: seize her seal and put the policies he favors into effect, sleep in her bed, and marry the woman he has long dreamed of...
Jiang Zhanyun is furious. She cannot close her eyes. If only she could live her life over again!
The rushing water carries her away without mercy, leaving half of a bell set with seven precious stones embedded in the rock.
*
By the time Xue He leads his troops back to the capital, Jiang Zhanyun has vanished without a trace. A cenotaph has been set up for her in the Mingguang Hall of Weiyang Palace, with half a bell inside.
Everyone knows that the jade pendant set with seven precious stones is an heirloom of the Xue family of Tengzhou, a symbol of marrying into the imperial house and protecting the kingdom. But the current Crown Princess behaves outrageously and has a poor relationship with Xue He. She found the pendant too plain, so she had it made into a bell.
That would have been bad enough, but she also used the leftover pieces to make little bells for an anklet. They jingled nonstop beneath the red bridal curtains.
On their wedding night, the young man, who strictly observed the rules of propriety, was driven out of the palace hall by all this.
He would rather spend his whole life guarding the border than share a room with a princess like her.
"Your Highness, if you don't change your temper and rein in your anger, sooner or later, "
Your life will be in danger, and the throne will pass to someone else.
He had wanted to say those eight words many times. That day, he finally couldn't hold them back.
Who could have known his words would come true?
The Jiang line came to an end.
To preserve peace in the realm, Xue He went against all objections and raised Ming Ye, a twelve-year-old king of another surname, to the throne.
*
In the sixth year of the new emperor's reign, Xue He helped his cousin, Xue Jiu Niang, take the empress's seat.
He had it all planned. He now held a slight advantage at court, and if he could also control the inner palace, he could turn the world upside down again. He would restore the Jiang family's rule and avenge Jiang Zhanyun.
As it turned out, the person behind it all had been the new emperor he himself had helped raise.
The year he learned the truth, he rescued a woman from the Directorate of Music and had her take the place of his cousin, who had died young. He arranged for her to be carefully trained in the six arts and personally taught her both literary and martial skills, shaping her into a sharp, obedient blade.
But after that blade entered the ninefold palace and ascended to the throne, Xue He found her harder and harder to control.
Then one day, as the court discussed policy in Weiyang Palace, before all the civil and military officials, a long sword pierced the new emperor through the chest from behind. The empress behind the curtain stepped out. With one hand she pulled out the sword and kicked the emperor aside; with the other, she held up the imperial seal, the symbol of the throne. Smiling sweetly at Xue He, whose body was splattered with blood, she said,
"I truly can't think of any other way to take back what has always belonged to me!"
Theme: We are born into this world with a duty to fulfill.
I like this story very much, and I never expected to see such a story in Jinjiang. It can be seen that the author has a lot of literary and historical literacy. When watching Jiao Jiao ascend the throne and deal with political affairs, teacher Mengman's analysis of A Wu's eventual failure to choose an heiress always flashes out. The reason is that Empress Wu's succession is impossible. It is a forced choice of the Li Dynasty, due to the helplessness of the patriarchal inheritance system, and the lack of female relatives and female power. But Jiao Jiao's path to the throne was obviously given or made up for the regrets of these female leaders in reality. She won the inheritance rights, and used the way she or the author gave her to change the world's view of the empress. She even broke through the shackles of imperial power and cultivated her own heirs. This idea is difficult to find in many empress novels. I'm glad that today, when soft literature is everywhere in Jinjiang, we can still find characters as vivid as Jiao Jiao. She has strategy, courage, scheming, and a dark side that is unique to her. She occasionally has the innocence and wisdom of a little girl. These are very good, and people can feel the freshness of this character. These are rare nowadays. The author's care can also be felt in the writing. The layout, clues, and details are all appropriate. The plot is not too confusing. The echoes are clear. There is no inflated word count at all. Every word is written down. These are also very good. The only flaw may be that Su Yan's several transformations are not completely complete, but this is actually not a big problem, because the emotional tension between the two people is enough to support this story, which has already won 80% of romance novels? Finally, I would like to express my love for this work again, and hope that the author can continue to create. Such good writing and such good story ideas should be seen by more people.
I just finished reading it and I am so excited! Really, it's so difficult to find such a good-looking novel... Thank you to the author! Thank you for writing such a good novel... It made me cry again and again. The Zhongliyun part was particularly uncomfortable. I don't know why I always think of Zhuge Liang when I see him. It's sad that he didn't get a better ending. Of course, my favorite story is the story between the male protagonist and the female protagonist... It's so wonderfully written that it's hard to imagine how many ancient poems the author read to quote it so vividly, thoroughly, and just right! Alas, I really like these ancient texts, but it's a pity that it will be difficult to get in touch with them in the future... I really want to thank the author for making me fall in love with traditional culture again; these ancient texts are really, so exquisite...
Without this extra chapter, the main text would really be broken!!! The family of three has been reborn, let them have a happy ending!
The author has written very well. Don't be discouraged. The core writing style of the article is first-class. It is true that the data is not worthy of the quality of the article. Based on my more than ten years of experience in reading articles, I guarantee that the author has unlimited potential. Keep up the good work 😚
Come over and relive the moon during the break of Zhan Yun 💪
It was so good that I stayed up two nights to read it. I really didn't expect to see such a novel in Jinjiang. It should be said that I didn't expect Jinjiang to have such a female protagonist. She is sick, cruel, sober, obsessive, passionate about love and hate. She longs for power and holds on to it. From the beginning, she only wanted to survive and avenge her mother. Later, she held the power for the benefit of the world, but she refused to let go of it, but she was not greedy for power. Because of her body, she broke the limitation that power must be passed down through blood, and cultivated heirs who were not related by blood. It can be said that the pattern of a real heroine is great. As for the emotional pull between her and Su Yan, the master-disciple relationship, monarch-subject affection, and family affection shown in this article can be said to account for the least proportion, and it is indeed the strongest in the book I have read. Recall Chapter 1 when a five-year-old wandering orphan girl knelt at the feet of a seventeen-year-old noble man and said to him, "Please accept me. I have very little to eat and I can also work." Forty years later, the empress, who was more than ten thousand people, summoned the world to change her reign to "Shen Bi." Thick and shocking!!! Thanks to my wife for writing such a heart-wrenching story.
I finished reading it and I liked it very much. The relationship between the male and female protagonists is so strong. In fact, I have never liked the female protagonist in Nv Diwen who is too affectionate because I am afraid that she will become a love brain or something, but the author's writing is so good! I cried several times during this period. I was very emotional but not aggrieved. Fortunately, I was healed.
The setting is quite good, and the writing is also good. It would be nice if the story were longer. It would be better to write in detail how Jiao Jiao seizes and consolidates power to become the supreme empress.
When will it be published? Fengfeng
This episode is really good, it makes up for the regrets
