[Crossover] As Love Says

June 28: The irresponsible author says she's going to ride the wave of Little White Boat's popularity, so she's gone off to the neighboring set.

She asked me to pass a message to Ailof: Keep climbing mountains, and stay healthy.

My name is Ailof. It's been passed down from some great-great-grandmother of mine, I don't know how many generations back. My full name is embarrassing to say, but it means "Ailof from Romania, far from Scandinavia."

My ancestors left behind a prophecy about a disaster that would befall humanity. According to one of my great-great-grandmothers, whose exact generation I don't know (if she was right), the disaster would originate with someone who could be called a genius. He would want to destroy the world, and once that thought took root, the world's dimensions would be thrown into disarray, and space and time would be reordered. The only way to end the disaster would be to stop him.

And so this glorious task was handed to me. Mm-hmm.

Yes, please don't look at me like that. I may look like a gloomy girl in bizarre clothes, but I really am the "legendary Ailof" destined to save the world in the prophecy.

The prophecy says that this person's path to world destruction will begin in the East. So I brought my family's heirloom divination bell and glasses, and of course my herbology book, and came East. I was determined to find and stop him before the world ended.

Now I'm standing at a crossroads in this port city called Yokohama, staring at the map in my hands and feeling a little confused…

[High-energy warning]

The entire story is told in first person.

Many original settings. Please don't nitpick.

The heroine is not all-powerful.

The love interest might be Yokohama's Lock-Picking King (not certain).

About the heroine: She's a witch, ordinary and not particularly powerful. She's not some lofty, impressive figure. Getting hit by basketballs or tennis balls while traveling is normal for her, and getting recruited to be an extra in a horror movie while walking down the street is normal too.

A doggerel about the crossover world:

Tokyo and Yokohama are full of treasures

The seafood company holds group outings

Public institutions are always hiring

Time travel is commonplace

Sports-loving teens run everywhere

Idols and entertainers fill the skies

Monsters and spirits are frequent guests

The Eastern world is truly mysterious

Theme: After saving the world, go live your life however you please.
