In early summer of 2040, an email seeking publication from a writer named Duoduo arrived in the submissions section of our publishing house's website. The email contained the following notes. My assistant forwarded them to me for review and approval. I only skimmed the notes, but I could already tell this was the most moving piece of literature I'd read in a long time. I personally suspect this is no fictional story: every detail is drawn from the author's real experiences. It is connected to the COVID-19 pandemic that swept across the globe in 2020, a disaster on the scale of a Hollywood catastrophe film. It will surely resonate with many of the people who survived it. Next Monday marks the twentieth anniversary of the international day of remembrance for the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. Hoping to take advantage of the occasion, I decided to publish Duoduo's following collection of personal reflections without making any changes or additions.
Theme: Dedicated to my father, my mother, you, and everyone who survived the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic
Fate, I found you, you should be just for record, come on
