[The companion story, The Actor's Daily Life Raising a Kid, is complete. Next up: The Little Kitten Is Working Again and The Little Robot Has Another Mishap. Please add them to your reading list! Check out my author page.]
Blurb
Ye Lan is a poor little half-demon who has supported himself since childhood.
He harvested crops, raised chicks, and set up a street stall. At long last, he scraped together enough tuition to go to school.
Then disaster struck.
An egg in the chicken coop suddenly hatched into a little dragon.
The dragon was mischievous and clingy. He made himself at home in Ye Lan's rundown house and refused to leave. Every day, he demanded a kiss from the little half-demon before he'd behave and stop causing trouble.
Ye Lan: "QAQ I don't want to raise him."
At last, one day, the dragon was taken away by his elders.
Before leaving, Ye Lan was so excited that tears welled in his eyes. "That clingy little dragon who's nearly kissed the skin off my face is finally gone!"
Seeing Ye Lan's tear-filled eyes, the dragon was just as excited. "So Ye Ye can't bear to part with me!"
Don't worry. Once he gets back, he'll steal all the jewels his father has hidden and sell them, then come back to take Ye Ye away to live a good life!
Not long afterward.
After going to great lengths to get himself a household registration so he could attend high school, Ye Lan sat in class and vowed to study hard and get into college.
But when he looked up, he saw the teacher introducing a new student.
The new student was cool and handsome. Everyone treated him like the school's heartthrob, saying he was perfect in every way, except that he seemed too cold and distant.
Ye Lan: "He's not cold at all!"
Every night, he turns back into a little dragon and demands a kiss from me.
I can't get rid of him at all.
Bonus scene 1:
Ye Lan works part-time as a caretaker at a little monster rescue center, where his job is to take in abandoned little monsters.
He takes in every little monster that's been discarded or has nowhere else to go.
Until
A certain little dragon comes over and taps on his desk. "I'm an orphan dragon. Nobody takes care of me."
"Will you take me in?"
Ye Lan takes a look at him and immediately calls his dragon dad without a word.
That day, all the little monsters were lucky enough to witness domestic violence in the dragon clan.
They say the little monster cubs wrote in their diaries that day: It rained really hard today. Ye Ye said it was all the tears of the little dragon getting beaten up.
Another upcoming story, The Little Robot Has Another Mishap, will be starting soon. Please add it to your reading list.
[An obedient, adorable bionic robot bottom x a ruthless, gloomy, and twisted big shot top]
The little robot who was always scolded in the lab finally ran away.
But after escaping, he discovered that it was really hard to get by in the world outside the lab.
One day, the little robot, beaten down by life until he couldn't take it anymore, finally found the courage to grab the hem of a big shot's clothes.
He raised his sweet, innocent little face and pleaded, "Excuse me, do you... do you need a little robot at home? I can sweep and wash dishes. I can do all sorts of things."
The big shot: "..."
That very day, the big shot brought home a little robot.
The little robot was a bit unusual. During the day, he earnestly pretended to be a machine without feelings. As soon as night fell, he started getting up to mischief.
He stole ice cream, secretly watched TV dramas, and even secretly took a bath (then shut down on the spot).
The big shot pressed his fingers to his forehead and watched the little robot get into trouble again and again. After countless mishaps
The little robot finally tumbled into his arms.
The little robot was so scared that he started overheating on the spot and tried to run away.
B-but the big shot was holding him too tight.
Little robot: "I-I can't get away QAQ."
Lab version:
An experiment in the ER lab produced a failed specimen.
The failure was a little bionic robot, adorable and sweet, but not very useful.
Ordered to sweep the floor, he dismantled the floorboards.
Ordered to wash the dishes, he left everyone in the lab short of bowls from then on.
Since he couldn't follow basic household instructions, the big-handed Doctor assigned him to help out around the lab.
The result was an explosion that nearly wiped out the entire lab that very day.
The Doctor couldn't take it anymore and finally decided to recycle this failed specimen, who was only good to look at.
But that night, the little robot, scheduled to be destroyed, awakened to consciousness and escaped.
Theme: Even monsters should study hard! Work hard and strive for a good life!
