She is a fallen heiress saddled with enormous debts, nearly sold off by her stepfather;

while he has risen to the pinnacle of the business world, standing above the clouds and worshipped by countless people.

Song Xinghe thinks this is just a transaction between wealthy families, with each party getting what they need.

When she's trapped in the mire, he's the only lifeline she can grasp.

What she doesn't know is that this lifeline is actually a golden cage someone has been plotting to build for her for years.

In that palace suspended among the clouds, Yu Sheng leans close to her ear, his whisper a demonic incantation:

"Song Xinghe, I have an excellent memory. You owe me those seven years, and I want you to repay me for the rest of your life."

What such thing as coincidence is there in this world?

It's nothing but someone becoming pathologically obsessed with you, until it turns into an addiction.
