Ye Zhi first meets Tan Lizhu in the acupuncture department of Shen University Affiliated Hospital. He's the beloved student of an expert professor.
Holding two jars, he says expressionlessly, "Lie down."
"Huh?" Ye Zhi stares. "My ears are bothering me. Why are you needling my back?"
As she speaks, one jar is placed on her back.
"Cupping."
"Oh."

Later, Ye Zhi gets curious about Tan Lizhu's first impression of her.
The old-school doctor is drinking tea.
His answer: "Her back is flat, perfect for cupping."
"A traditional Chinese medicine student with the mannerisms of an old doctor x an architecture drafting dog who gets into trouble every day"
"A college story, for the first time in ages"
