The Agent Who Took Over the Dark Honmaru Was Reborn

The story of an Overseer who took over a dark Honmaru without realizing it, was killed by the combined efforts of the Tsukumogami, then reborn on the first day she arrived at the Honmaru.

First-person narration.

It's not quite like that story about the lazy, awful Overseer. Hardly any swords appeared in that one, either. Who knows what this one will be like? I'm writing it for a change of mood.

Pairing undecided.

This Honmaru:

The first Overseer wasn't a good person.

The second was a healing, unattainable beloved.

The third quit halfway through. Unwilling to put up with the Tsukumogami still pining for the second, they both loved and resented the Honmaru, abandoned it for half a year, then left to work at a new Honmaru.

The fourth Overseer learned about the third's situation and mocked and insulted the Tsukumogami. Later, deciding that was too petty, they quit once their term was up.

The fifth was me. I worked hard and did everything asked of me, and then... I got stabbed.

It wasn't until I was dying that I learned these Tsukumogami were all dark.

Don't ask the author why the Tsukumogami turned dark. It just happened after a series of events.
