This is the Western Liang Women's Kingdom, not the historical Western Liang Kingdom. The dynasties, official system, place names, and so on are entirely fictional. The setting is an era that reveres the supernatural.
There will be Lenormand readings and pendulum/crystal healing, among other things. They won't be described in detail and aren't meant to promote superstition, just to serve as the heroine's golden finger.
This is a short story written on a whim, so many plot points won't be explored in depth. Don't read it if you want a perfectly logical plot and a fully developed setting.
