My Ex-Boyfriend, Whom I Treated Like Trash, Became a Superstar

The ex-boyfriend I treated badly is back, and he's become a superstar, way out of my league. He still holds a grudge over how I dumped him back then, and takes every chance to mock me, hoping to get his revenge. I decided to throw caution to the wind and begged him to get back together, so he could dump me in return. The plan worked perfectly: I scored an initial victory and got him to take me back. Then I realized it had all been a ploy... He never planned to dump me at all. I thought I'd shamelessly won him back, but in truth I'd walked right into the trap he'd set for me. I died on some day in 20**, the day our relationship went public, drowned in the spittle of his female fans. Note: Written in third person. Showbiz setting, no real people involved. Theme: Rekindled love
