Synopsis
One-on-one romance.
A tsundere, sharp-tongued top student who can't communicate normally and pretends to be aloof vs. a big-sister type of extraordinary woman with an abundance of patience.
1. At thirty, the perpetually single woman was just an ordinary office worker, smiling through every workday.
The one thing that made her happy was finding out that her aloof deskmate from high school, who she'd heard had been quite handsome, had secretly loved her for years.
She'd never kept his contact details, and then heard he'd had an accident and become a vegetable.
At a class reunion, she was offended by all the talk about children. Then, drunk and leaving the venue, she had the bad luck to walk into a telephone pole.
She thought her luck couldn't get any worse, but then she suddenly returned to her school days. Through sheer persistence, she won over the deskmate who had secretly loved her.
So much for being aloof. He opens his mouth and says the most infuriating things.
So much for being a super genius. What kind of person studies from a workbook while in the hospital?
You can't scold him or reason with him. He gets upset over the slightest thing, and you have to placate him with lollipops.
2. Gao Sheng reached middle age with nothing to show for herself and still single. Yang Shang, whose luck was scarce but who always worked hard, had missed her chance to meet him.
In her school days, she was a lively girl who made a name for herself around campus. She never knew that the seemingly cold boy had been hopelessly in love with her for three years.
By the time she found out, there was no chance for them anymore.
Then, by a lucky coincidence, she got the chance to return to those days.
Everything was the same, the same way they met, but a different experience.
Who said Yang Shang was aloof?
He was the sharpest-tongued person in history, but Gao Sheng was no pushover either.
Who said academic excellence came naturally?
It was all down to burning the midnight oil and working hard. His ability to grasp things wasn't even as good as hers.
They trade barbs as their feelings grow, and discover that all their problems back then were caused by procrastination.
Back in their teens, they were still kids, but she was no longer the naive little girl she'd been back then.
She transforms in style and even wins herself a younger guy. She gets her youth back and takes care of the most important business of her life.
That plan worked perfectly. She could do it a few more times, too.

Reader's guide:
1. They're each other's first love, with all the classic school romance tropes.
2. Don't call the male lead melodramatic. He just doesn't know how to communicate normally.
3. They're two years apart in age, but their mental ages are another matter. The heroine's is that of an old auntie.
4. This is a story about a big bad wolf heroine tricking a little white rabbit hero, with a love-hate relationship.
5. The male lead's condition will worsen, but the heroine will always stay by his side and spoil him rotten~
Theme: Make amends and overcome procrastination.
I like this article very much, but some chapters are locked in the middle. What a pity!
The setting is good and the writing is great~
