[Horror Crossover + Criminal Minds] Even Mediums Need a Steady Job

Horror crossover + mainly Criminal Minds * Guan Yiqiu, an overseas Chinese living in the United States, has yin-yang eyes in both the physical and metaphysical sense. Her heterochromia is a distinctive feature of her body, while her extraordinary intuition is an inborn talent. By touching an object, she can sense whether its owner is alive or dead; by hearing about an incident, she can tell whether it bodes well or ill... Guan Yiqiu's special abilities have earned her a fortune as a medium, but a belief drilled into her as a Chinese person tells her: Unstable earnings won't last. A secure job is the ultimate goal! To land a permanent contract with the TV station, production assistant Guan Yiqiu gets straight to work! But then... During the first episode, the director dies. During the second episode, a little girl is kidnapped. During the third episode... The station manager's hand trembles as he holds his cigarette. "Maybe we should just cancel the show? I think someone on the production team has been cursed." Guan Yiqiu, writing the script: ??? What are you barking about? Do you know how hard it is for a fresh graduate to find a job? No one can stop me from getting a secure job! # As the BAU's lead profiler, Hotch is upright, strict, and unsmiling. Beneath his perfectly tailored suit, which gives off an air of absolute restraint, is a heart as delicate as gold, devoted to science, logic, and the rule of law. He never imagined that one day his partner would turn out to be a medium. The medium touches a dropped necklace and says the missing person is still alive. The medium touches a bloodstained shirt and says the killer is the one wearing it. The medium touches Hotch's hand and says, "I can tell you're unhappy, Officer." Hotch: ... I'd have to be dead to be happy about this. # Workaholic Hotch thought that spending twenty-four hours a day figuring out how to stop criminals was exhausting enough. He never expected dealing with a medium colleague to be even more draining, nerve-racking, and utterly exhausting. Until one day, Guan Yiqiu took his hand and told him to close his eyes. The instant he shut them, Hotch saw the world anew. Countless stars gathered into a vast expanse: brilliant passion, magnificent joy, and a great love came crashing toward him like a tidal wave. He seemed to see the universe flowing between the hands clasped together, his and hers. Reader's note: 0.
