You Should Dress Like a Human Even to Pick Up a Delivery Downstairs

Miss Xia spent half her life working hard to earn enough for an apartment.

Then she spent another six months fixing the place up until it looked decent.

Yet just a few days after moving in, she was already thinking of selling it.

Why?

Because one day, she went downstairs to pick up a package with her hair all over the place and saw a well-dressed man leaning against an expensive car.

Their eyes met. Her insides burned with embarrassment.

She wanted to pretend she didn't know him, but the delivery guy called her by name.

The man smiled, a familiar hint of mockery in his eyes. "You're really... exactly the same as ever."

Miss Xia took a small package and a huge bag of toilet paper from the delivery guy.

"You too..."

She was about to ask if he lived here too, but the man casually said, "Waiting for my girlfriend. My current one."

Later, in a moment that set her heart racing,

Miss Xia pushed him away and asked, "How many ex-girlfriends do you have?"

Mr. Jiang answered impatiently, "A hundred."

She smiled. "So I'm one in a hundred."

He frowned. "What about you? How many ex-boyfriends?"

"A thousand." She breathed softly against him. "Sorry, you're one in a thousand."
