After being put through a round of brutal abuse, she gained the freedom to leave the story.

1. This is not a scumbag man and pathetic woman story! The male lead only loves the heroine!

2. The male lead didn't abandon the heroine of his own free will.

3. The heroine is truly heartless. The first two paragraphs of the blurb are from the heroine's own perspective. There's a reason for her attitude, which will be explained later.

At first, it was just because Jiang Fengwan overslept on the morning of court and arrived late. Xie Su told her to be more diligent.
