Why Am I Everyone's Favorite Again Today?

"What's my mission?"

"Your mission is to save the world."

Shang Zhi raised her lowered eyes, a smile curving her lips, the kind that made everyone flock to her. "Wow, that sounds pretty great."

"You are innocent, alluring, beautiful, cool and aloof, uninhibited, distant... You are the world's central axis, the star everyone watches, the one favored by the gods."

Shang Zhi: ???

Wait, what does any of that have to do with saving the world?

"Before that, you need to destroy every little world that's fallen into chaos."

Shang Zhi: "..."

Are you people trying to cause trouble?

*

The specific method for destroying these little worlds is: make him love you, make him love you, make every last one of them love you.

They will live for you, die for you, and willingly destroy themselves for you.

Shang Zhi: "..."

Now that sounds pretty great.

Also known as Today I'm Everyone's Favorite Again, Setting Hearts Ablaze Every Day, Don't Love Me, It Won't End Well, and Zhi Zhi Is the Man You'll Never Have.

Content warnings:

1. Very indulgent, very satisfying, with all kinds of love-triangle drama.

2. The bottom is everyone's favorite: a fickle, heartless player and a great actor.

3. The writing isn't up to par, and the logic has been eaten by a dog. Don't take it too seriously.
