[Reader's Guide]
√ First of all, this is not a wish-fulfillment story!
While reading, especially in the early chapters, you may encounter scenes that frustrate or upset you. That's the point: this isn't a feel-good power fantasy, but a serious drama. Even in real life, things go wrong far more often than they go right, let alone in a work of fiction where all kinds of conflicts are magnified for dramatic effect. If you can't accept that, please click the X in the top right and leave.
I don't want to explain over and over why a particular scene needs to be there, why the protagonist acts a certain way at a particular moment, or why something is so frustrating. I'm an easygoing person, but that doesn't mean I'll have the patience to explain the same thing eight hundred times. Leaving now will save you time. Don't waste your precious time on a story you're bound to dislike. It'll be better for everyone, so why not?
√ Second, the female lead isn't the tough, take-no-prisoners type!
She isn't outspoken, blunt, or someone who says whatever comes to mind. There are characters like that in the story, including her friends, classmates, and even her mother, but she isn't one of them. In fact, she's a levelheaded, gentle sort of person. When someone deliberately makes things difficult for her, she won't immediately charge in and pick a fight, firing off devastating retorts that make readers cheer. If you like stories with protagonists like that, please click the X in the top right and leave, because unfortunately this story will disappoint you. At least in the early chapters, the female lead is absolutely not like that.
She takes the big picture into account and weighs the options to find the most suitable solution, putting the circumstances of the other people present first. If she decides that the best course of action is one that leaves her temporarily aggrieved, she won't shy away from it. In some situations, she may decide to fire back angrily, such as when she first meets Draco and he mocks her with cutting remarks. But if she considers it unnecessary, she won't choose to respond in kind, even if it makes her uncomfortable.
That doesn't mean she doesn't hold a grudge. In fact, she'll remember it, and she'll speak up when she thinks it's time to answer back. Whether someone is fiery and outspoken or mild and quiet, every personality has its strengths and weaknesses.
When did choosing to endure something temporarily for the sake of the bigger picture, with reason and restraint, become the same as being cowardly or a simpering white lotus? As I've said, this isn't a wish-fulfillment story, but a serious drama that's closer to reality. I like strong personalities too, but I admire people who are sensible, rational, mindful of the bigger picture, patient, and understated even more. If we can't agree on this, please click the X in the top right and leave. Thank you.

I don't know how many times I have reread it. Didn't I promise that I would finish this book properly? I think I was there when the daily update was released, but now it's been three years, have you given up completely? I can only complain in the comment section where I don't know whether you can see it or not?
