The Sword Saint Insists on Taking Responsibility for Me [Western Fantasy]

The young woman has lost her memory. The young man before her, supposedly the one who caused her amnesia, solemnly declares, "I'll take responsibility for you."

He gives her all his money, takes her back to the imperial palace, and slays every monster for her.

She loses all his money, destroys his kingdom, and brings the entire Dark Continent down upon him.

When the young woman regains her memories, darkness descends over the world.

Facing the young man trying to drive away the darkness, she looks at him with icy eyes:

"Light stands between us, and so does eternity."

As the captain of the Royal Knights and the man chosen by the holy sword,

the Sword Saint always believed he had finally met his destined love.

He didn't care that she had lost her memory.

Only later did he discover:

He was the one who had sealed her memories, and she had hired the assassins sent to kill her.

One of the Ten Demon Lords of the Dark Continent was her disciple, and she was the founder of his own country.

She even carried a token of love exchanged with one of his ancestors!

The Sword Saint raised his holy sword and pointed it at the young woman, looking deeply displeased. "My beloved, take responsibility for me."
