Harry Potter believes there were two turning points in his life: one when he was nine, and one when he was eleven.
At eleven, he learned who he really was. All the strange things about him suddenly made sense, and he stepped into a magical world.
But one afternoon before his ninth birthday, his fairy godmother came down from the heavens. This time, "magic" entered his life of its own accord, chasing away the gloom and loneliness.
She gave Harry delicious food, took him to the zoo and the movies, never minded the strange things that set him apart, and always listened patiently when he spoke.
Most importantly, whether he was sad, angry, or confused, she was always there, arms open, offering him the kind of embrace he could depend on and trust, like a mother's.

Gai Li Ye Te never thought she would return to this place, back to the world of magic. But her precious child, everything she loves, needs her. She has to keep going.

Darkness lurks on the horizon. The bright day has yet to arrive, and the land of roses remains shrouded in mist. To protect everything they love, they must enter the arena with their heads held high and fight bravely, even if they stand alone.
A story about companionship and growing up, imagining what might happen if someone had been by Harry's side since childhood.
It mostly follows the original plot, but includes plenty of personal worldbuilding, changes, and original storylines, including some altered character endings. Honestly, there'd be no point in writing this if it were exactly the same as the original, right? The goal is to naturally weave the original character into the canon.
So:
- This story features an original female character, but she has no romantic pairing. She is a native of the world, with no transmigration or rebirth.
- Canon pairings are preserved, including GGAD, except for Wolfstar, which is a personal preference.
- No bashing, excessive praise, cheap shots, or whitewashing. The story leans toward Gryffindor and strives to portray the original characters faithfully and avoid out-of-character behavior.
