The Heavenly Book Calamity

The Cat and Mouse fanfiction series consists of five books: Dragon Map is the first, Jade Mouse the second, Heavenly Book the third, A Second Stir in Tokyo the fourth, and Beauty the final installment. The series is complete and is one of my favorite live-action Cat and Mouse fanfics, so I'm posting it here. Please leave your comments, everyone. Thank you! Synopsis: The Heavenly Book Sect in the Western Regions is a sinister force. In recent months, numerous fake monks have been slaughtering people at temples and murdering innocents. The conspiracy is exposed, revealing the return of a formidable enemy: Li Ji'an, the Sixth Prince of Western Xia! He is ordered to accompany an imperial envoy on a journey to the western frontier. He thinks that with a thousand mountains between them, he can finally enjoy some peace and quiet. But then, in the General Ningyuan's residence, he sees that brazen white shadow stealing wine again! Bai Yutang, you truly are a man of honor. To keep a promise to a dead friend, you traveled thousands of miles to share the sun and moon at Chiling, and to honor his memory. But do you know that everyone must die someday? If I, Zhan, were to die of exhaustion, would you bring a jug of wine to pay tribute to your old friend at night? The Heavenly Book Sect is wreaking havoc in the Hehuang region. How can we, as heroes, stand by and do nothing? Don't think a little cold poison can hold Fifth Lord Bai back! Even if I die, I'll go down in a blaze of glory amid a thousand blades and ten thousand arrows! You stinking cat, at least we'll have each other for company. Yellow Coreopsis, purple larkspur, a vast grassland stretching to the horizon. What does it matter if we sleep forever here together? Intended message:
